Angie Collins
Social Worker in 16+ Service, Plymouth City Council
Angie has worked for Plymouth Social Care Children's Services from 1987 she spent most of this time working in Young Peoples residential units as a team member and as a successful Registered Manager, Angie moved on to become Team Manager with the CAST team and assisted the staff team and managers with the development of change for that service. Angie transferred to the 16+ service in April 2007 as a LAC Social Worker after successfully obtaining her degree in Social Work 2004 Her background in Social Care has enabled her to be a consummate professional who brings motivation, quality, responsibility and supportive skills to young people and team members. Her knowledge of successfully managing complex mediation scenarios along with her skills in sensory perception certainly proved beneficial in placating a recent serious incident.
