According to a Local Government Association survey half of England's Council have had to cut jobs due to the recession and increased demands on service. But how is the public sector coping with this? The Local Government Channel went along to Westminster Briefing's conference on Dealing with the Economic Downturn to find out what people in local government and those working with the sector think.
