Inflation, energy bills, credit crunch - what can be done locally?
With the recession kicking in and prices still rising, many households are struggling to cope. Richard Kemp, Deputy Chair of the Local Government Association and local government expert Tony Travers from the London School of Economics join Sarah Lockett in the Local Government Channel studio. They discuss how councils can help those most affected and what local authorities could or should be doing to tackle their own rising costs.
