Local Housing Manager, Southampton City Council
Helen's early life was in Stoke-on-Trent, she achieved 4 A levels. In 1995 she went to Warwick University obtaining BA honours in Sociology with Social Policy before going to Oxford Brookes University in 1998 obtaining the post graduate Diploma in Housing. This led her to Southampton in 1999 when (as part of the course) she became a placement trainee for a year. In June 2000 Helen was appointed as a Housing Officer, promotion to Deputy Housing Manager happened in January 2002. In August 2005 Helen was appointed to the role she currently fulfills as a Local Housing Manager.
