Brian Grady - Winner 2007!!
Senior Procurement Officer
Devon County Council
Brian Grady leads the team of procurement officers that received national recognition for the way in which children, young people, parents and carers were involved in the procurement of children's centres as part of their commitment to giving children of the area the best start possible in life. A parent from Tiverton said "It';s difficult trying to balance the needs of my family, earning a living, and trying to build a better future for ourselves. Brian really listened to my views about what we need and what would make a difference." Brian has brought a real entrepreneurial spirit to the process, real passion for giving power back to Devon's people and yet he's been unfailingly professional.
