Jane Dabrowska
Service Manager, Older and Disabled People's Services, Leicestershire County Council
Jane Dabrowska is a locality Service Manager in the Older and Disabled People's Service area of Leicestershire Adult Social Care Department. She began her social care career as a Home Help in 1985 and over the intervening years has managed both providing and commissioning teams. From the start she has had a particular interest in Home Care Services and now manages the in-house county-wide service. Jane has overseen the development of home care reablement services in Leicestershire. The model is now recognised as best practice nationally and as a result Jane has championed reablement at conferences and hosted visits from other authorities, including from Wales and Scotland.
