East Lindsey District Council
Not just the water, the devastation or recovery. It was the heartbreak and reaching out to care about each other. Lending practical support when all seemed lost. Help with dignity to people who never ask. The moment floodwaters started the team were on site - long hard hours. Later, individual support to our most vulnerable residents. Building trust and dependability that is still evident today. Being a 'champion' when no one else cared. Mr Owen from Horncastle with Joanne Neal and Ian Bennett - 'Champions' from our Cleansing Team. There for every one.
